Executive Director Liz Hamilton was presented with the prestigious Lois B Green Leadership award from the Women’s Initiative, a program of the United Way of Central Massachusetts, on November 10th. In addition, on November 20th, the Worcester Business Journal recognized Liz as well as six other women leaders in the region with the Outstanding Woman in Business award.
Liz had this to say regarding the awards, “My thanks to the Women’s Initiative and the Worcester Business Journal for these wonderful honors. I am more grateful than words can say. I accept this recognition on behalf of my supportive life-long mentors, beautiful family, and incredibly dedicated team at the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester. They are the true MVPs. Without their love, encouragement, and support, I would not be here.”
