On Thursday, June 12th, friends and supporters from all over the community came together at Mechanics Hall to celebrate the 125th birthday of the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester. The evening included a commencement ceremony for our graduating high school seniors, performances by In Da Zone and The Beat Team, as well as our Hall of Fame, in which District Attorney Joe Early, SBSB's Frank Carroll and Artist Andy Fish were inducted. We also announced the $100,000 matching grant from the Amelia Peabody Foundation. The first $50,000 must be raised by December of this year, the remaining $50,000 by March 2015. We also debuted our new Foundation for the Future video, as well as our new "A Day at the Club" video. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester throughout the years. Here's to another 125 years!
