We recently received a grant by the Worcester Arts Council sponsoring Art at the Club, which will provide our members with high-yield learning activities in the visual arts. Our youth will focus on creating visual vocabularies, painting, pastels, 2-dimensional media, and 3D media of ceramic tiles and textiles. These classes will be led by Linda Freedman, Director of the Craft Studio at Clark University, who has over 40 years of experience. Our classes will be offered to all Club members and will run for 16 weeks this spring. Without the support of Worcester Arts Council, our Club wouldn't have the resources necessary to offer our kids such integral learning experiences.
