TITLE: Part-Time Seasonal Summer Program Assistant (Plumley Village East Clubhouse)
REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Site Coordinator, the Seasonal Summer Program Assistant in the Plumley Village Clubhouse is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of youth, implementing fun and engaging academic enrichment and recreational programs for youth, ages 7-13.
The Program Assistant will support the work of the Site Coordinator and may participate in special programs or events. Under the direction of the Site Coordinator, oversee the daily activities of Junior Staff and be required to maintain close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions, instruct, and advise members. Light maintenance and upkeep of program areas and the facilities will be required to maintain the cleanliness of the Clubhouse. May be required to lift up to fifty (50 pounds). Participation in other Clubhouse activities may be required, as necessary.
Must be available to work from 12 noon – 4:00 p.m. for 6 weeks starting July 6th till August 14, 2020, with a possibility of extension into the school year.
Must have reliable transportation.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:
• Education: High School degree (or equivalent) required
• Experience: Two years of youth development experience; bilingual preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong computer/technological skills preferred.
• Group leadership skills including an understanding of group dynamics.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, preferred.

TITLE: Program Assistant for Great Brook Valley Outreach Program
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Site Coordinator, the Program Assistant at Kids Club will assist with the creation and assembly of educational enrichment packets and the delivery of the packets with lunch (with breakfast for the next day) to youth and their families residing in Great Brook Valley. In addition, the program assistant will perform case management tasks such as calling and emailing families to check in and offer assistance. Another component will be developing virtual learning activities and online contests to engage the youth in a remote setting.
The Program Assistant will support the work of the Site Coordinator and may participate in the planning and implementation of special programs or events. Participation in other Clubhouse activities may be required, as necessary.
Position is a summer seasonal position for six weeks (plus one week of training). Must be available to work between the hours of 8 AM– 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Must have flexibility and reliable transportation.
Qualifications and Skills:
-High school degree (or equivalent) required. A minimum of one-year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth development organization with planning and supervising activities preferred.
·Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
·Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.
·CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
·Bilingual preferred (Spanish & English)

TITLE: Youth Development Program Assistant at the Harrington Clubhouse
REPORTS TO: Program Director(s)

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists, and when necessary, leads the implementation of programming in the areas of Academic Success, Leadership & Job Readiness, the Arts and Healthy Habits. Must be available to work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. during the summer period of June 29th – August 28th, 2020, Mondays through Fridays. This is a seasonal full-time position.
Must have reliable transportation.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: High School degree (or equivalent) required
• Experience: Two years of youth development experience; bilingual preferred
KEY ROLES:
• Provide fun academic enrichment and recreational programs for youth, ages 8-13
• Support the work of the program area director / supervisor
• Ensure the health and safety of all members at all times; following all protocols established by EEC and DPH related to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19
• May participate in special programs and/ or events
• Maintain close, daily contact with Club staff, Club members, and supervisor to provide feedback and receive direction.

TITLE: Program Assistant for the Food Pantry and Youth Development Program at the Harrington Clubhouse
REPORTS TO: Case Manager and Director of Operations
NUMBER OF AVAILABLE POSITIONS: 3
POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the Case Management team with the management of the food pantry and emergency closet, Grab & Go lunches, and Fresh Fruit Fridays. May also serve as a program assistant for onsite educational and recreational programming. Must be available to work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. during the summer period of June 29th – August 28th, 2020, Mondays through Fridays, approximately 15 -20 hours per week.
Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred: 21 years of age, with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
